Off Madison Ave believes it is our responsibility and philosophy as a social-minded business to commit resources and donate time, benefiting the community as a whole. Noteworthy Off Madison Ave charitable giving includes the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, Hurricane Rita Relief Fund, Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Below are examples of how Off Madison Ave contributes to the local community.
Libraries for Literacy: In the "spirit of giving" over the holiday season we partnered with Southwest Human Development (SWHD) to help them build two library learning centers for underprivileged children in Phoenix. In working with SWHD to fully renovate and install the two brand new centers, Off Madison Ave donated time and money to paint, assemble new furniture, tape books together and set-up the first libraries many of these kids have ever seen.
Boys & Girls Clubs Taste of South America 2006, Taste of the Mediterranean 2005 and Taste of Australia 2004: These events benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix, whose mission is to inspire and enable youth in our community. For three consecutive years Off Madison Ave has donated agency time and services to the Boys & Girls Clubs worth approximately $150,000. We designed an 8-page brochure, a 20-page program, logos, names, invitations, promotional items, tickets, and print advertising.
The 100 Club of Arizona: The 100 Club is a volunteer, benevolent, non-profit corporation committed to standing behind the men and women who stand behind the badge, assisting families of public safety workers injured or killed in the line of duty. Off Madison Ave continually donates agency time and services for brochures, collateral pieces, and invitations for the charity's annual banquettes. In 2006 the agency started providing Interactive services as well. David Anderson has also had the honor of serving on its Board of Directors in past years.
