David Anderson is co-founder of Off Madison Ave and currently serves as the managing partner for the agency. In this capacity he is responsible for the day-to-day operations.
David's marketing career began with a focus on public relations when he was hired by Miller Brewing Company to be a college public relations representative. From there, he worked in a variety of political positions in Washington, D.C. including working for a United States Senator, a member of Congress, staff appointments to two Presidential Commissions and working for the White House as a Lead Advance representative for the President of the United States. While serving as Lead Advance Representative, David was the primary contact for the White House during national and international Presidential visits. All of these activities entailed significant public and media relations responsibilities.
After his tenure in Washington, D.C., David decided to return to his native state of Arizona where he served in several executive level positions with two other Arizona marketing firms. In both engagements he was responsible for creating and building a public relations practice group. In 1998, David formed Off Madison Ave along with his business partner Roger Hurni.
David was named Ad Person of the Year in 2002, a Finalist for the Ernst Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2003 and Father of the Year in 2006.
