It’s the classic American success story; two guys with big dreams team up and start a business out of a garage with nothing but VC capital for funding (that’s Visa card funding mind you). But these guys, Roger Hurni and Dave Anderson, weren’t just your typical entrepreneurs; they both brought years of agency experience to the table when creating the agency – experience that allowed them to build a company based on bottom-line, industry-proven effectiveness.

Above all else though, Off Madison Ave was founded on a belief that the client always comes first, and that it is imperative for future success that agency work be transparent, with success clearly measured and growth easily mapped out. And growth came fast, with the agency growing to over a dozen employees by the end of year two, forcing Off Madison Ave out of Roger’s home (his wife was thrilled) to its first office space in downtown Tempe’s Hayden Square.

Now in our 13th year of business, we’ve grown to close to 40 employees, delivering award winning services to clients in cities all over the United States – and even a few other continents. We’ve won ADDYs, TELLYs, Copper Quills, POLLIE’s, Best of Phoenix awards – you name it. Dave and Roger even won individual Phoenix Ad Person of the Year awards, not something you see at most agencies – but we don’t just do it for the trophies. We’re most excited about creating great campaigns that take brands to new levels.
