Off Madison Ave Honored At National E-mail Marketing Conference

Mighty Interactive Receives Top Award for Most Strategic, Effective E-Mail Campaign

PHOENIX (Feb. 17, 2010)—Mighty Interactive, a division of Tempe-based marketing and communications firm Off Madison Ave, was awarded the National People’s Choice Award at the recent 2010 E-mail Evolution Conference and proved that being “Mighty” is all about innovative strategy, not agency size.

Mighty Interactive’s customer lifecycle marketing team earned the award for an email campaign created for long-time client Massage Envy. The national award is determined by peers in the direct marketing industry who evaluate top email campaigns for marketing strategy, overall best practice and the campaign’s ability to inspire others to elevate their own email programs. The win came against other industry giants including Tribal DDB Worldwide and its campaign for Pepsi Xtra.

“The opportunity to associate with and learn from talented industry peers at this conference is a privilege in itself,” said David Hibbs, Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager at Mighty Interactive and co-chair of the Consumer E-mail Education Roundtable with the E-mail Experience Council. “Then to be recognized with The People’s Choice Award as a national leader in email marketing strategy, is humbling for our team and inspires us to continue seeking clients solutions that provide competitive advantages necessary in today’s economy.”

Mike Corak, Director of Interactive Services and Strategy at Mighty Interactive, also participated at the E-mail Evolution Conference as an expert panelist. He joined renowned social media consultant Jason Baer of Convince and Convert and Blue Sky Factory’s community manager D.J. Waldow for a social media workshop entitled, “Why Before How: Developing Successful Social Media Strategy and Synergistic Integration.” In addition, Corak participated in a keynote panel with representatives of Smith-Harmon and eROI for the “American Email Idol” design competition moderated by Lisa Harmon of Smith-Harmon.

The E-mail Evolution Conference, which was held Feb. 1-3 in Miami Beach, Fla., was the third annual gathering of members from the E-mail Experience Council and the Direct Marketing Association. The council, association and its members drive the industry forward through networking and educational conferences in order to provide new opportunities for companies seeking a greater ROI by engaging audiences through utilization of multichannel strategies of email and digital media.
