Off Madison Ave's Leaders Make Positive Local and Industry Impact Despite Difficult Economy
“To be recognized by such reputable community and industry influencers is testament to the depth of expertise and experience that exists at Off Madison Ave.”
PHOENIX (September 14, 2009) – Off Madison Ave, a Tempe, Ariz.-based communications agency specializing in digitally driven marketing, continues to seek community and industry leadership opportunities at a time when many peers are forced to focus solely on their organization’s survival. Conversely, the agency welcomes the chance to serve the community or collaborate with peers for the support and growth of like-minded business and non-profit organizations. While personally enriching, recent appointments to non-profit boards, speaking engagement invitations and recognition from prominent industry groups also validates Off Madison Ave’s local and national leadership efforts.
“To be recognized by such reputable community and industry influencers is testament to the depth of expertise and experience that exists at Off Madison Ave,” said David Anderson, co-founder and president of Off Madison Ave. “We continue to encourage team members to extend their service and knowledge beyond the walls of the agency – and are proud to see the company being represented so positively while solidifying a reputation of collaboration and results.”
Recent examples of industry leadership, community service and local recognition include:
- Carol Klimas, director of public relations, was elected to the board of directors for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix and is involved with the planning committee for the annual fundraiser, “A McNight to Remember.” In addition, Klimas is spearheading the public relations group for the Arizona Foundation for Women.
- Mike Corak, director of strategy and interactive services, is a founding member of the recently launched Arizona Interactive Marketing Society (AZIMA). Corak serves on the board of directors as the executive vice president, working to create a community for interactive marketing professionals to network, share knowledge and learn the latest industry trends.
- David Anderson was recently elected to the board of directors for the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, and provides strategic input to support the growth of Valley businesses.
- Chris Sietsema, director of interactive marketing, and Corak also recently spoke at the Social Media for Business event presented by Social Media AZ. The conference gathered local and national industry experts to offer insight into social media strategies, tactics and best practices.
