Media Training & Coaching Package

« Back to Public Relations List of Services

Our approach to media training is to equip spokespeople with an understanding of how the media operate and how to handle the most difficult reporter when interviewed. Our focus is to assist you in tailoring key messages and delivery to appropriately influence a more favorable outcome in media coverage. Through one-on-one facilitation, which can be conducted in our Tempe offices or in the comfort of a client's own conference room, Off Madison Ave prepares and delivers a fully customizable, highly interactive six- to eight-hour media training session.

Each session has been structured to train two company executives/spokespersons with an overview on understanding the media, how to handle interviews, and how to ensure an organization's key messages are conveyed properly. Participants are also prepared for media interviews by receiving training manuals, tip sheets, sample media questions, talking points/key messages, and copies of all articles and television segments generated from interviews. In addition, Off Madison Ave's media team will provide a review and critique of the entire training session. You will not be asked to do any preparatory work, although we do prefer that we first identify and develop key messages and Q&A documents beforehand.

Fee: $5,500 (six- to eight-hour session for two executives), includes research, analysis, preparatory activities and cost of A/V equipment. Fees for implementing training for three or more executives are determined based on client needs and depth of training requirements.
